Meet Our Laywer

Matthew P. Eastman is a dual-qualified lawyer in Ontario, Canada, as a Barrister & Solicitor and in England & Wales as a Chartered Lawyer (Civil Attorney).

Matthew attained his post-secondary qualifications in Ontario, Canada, with a BA (Soc) from Laurentian University and an LLB (Hons.) in England from the University of Sussex.

Matthew has also completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), formerly Bar Vocational Course (BVC), culminating in his Call to The Bar of England & Wales in 2015 by the Honourable Society of the Gray's Inn, and he also secured a Masters in Law (LLM) from The City University of London.

In March 2025, Matthew was Called to the Bar of Ontario, Canada, and admitted to the Rolls.

Matthew has amassed a significantly litigation-heavy practice. Matthew is routinely instructed in Property and Personal Injury Litigation on 'advocacy only' or 'limited scope retainers'.

Matthew's litigation and advocacy related experience also includes general civil litigation, drafting and providing written advice on specific areas of law, procedure and the prospect of success.
